Saturday 9th September – A day of exercise, beautiful countryside and some stunning church architecture.
The annual Historic Churches Trust Ride & Stride is an event where you walk or cycle between as many Northamptonshire churches as possible in a day, raising money as you go through sponsorship. The money raised goes to the Trust, but they then return half of it to your local church. The Trust uses the money to give grants towards church building repairs and all three of our churches have benefitted from grants in the past.
So would you like to have some fun raising sponsorship and getting out there on the 9th September. As you go round you will find that many of the churches are open all day with welcoming drinks and biscuits. You can plan your own route and do as many or few churches as you like. It might also be an opportunity to join with others and go as a group.
