During four special 6@StNics services, we are going to be doing a course called Essentials in which we explore four essential principles of the Christian faith. It is a course that will already be familiar to some of our church family, because we often use it with baptism or confirmation candidates. But this is open to everyone, whether you are thinking about baptism, confirmation or not. Everyone is invited to come and understand more clearly, what Christianity is all about.
At each service in St Nicholas Islip, there will be a bit of singing, watching of a video, discussion, plus time for questions and explanation. All of that should take about an hour and you will be welcome to carry on conversations afterwards over a hot drink. The dates are as follows:
- 21st April 6.00pm – Week 1 – Reveal = Who Jesus is.
- 28th April 6.00pm – Week 2 – Reject = What Jesus saves us from.
- 5th May 6.00pm – Week 3 – Rescue = How Jesus saves us.
- 12th May 6.00pm – Week 4 – Relationship = What he saves us for.
There is no need to sign up and no charge for attending, we just look forward to exploring the heart of the Christian faith with you.
