The Lent Course
online and in our homes
Journey with Jesus on the road to Jerusalem with daily reflections for Lent. As you walk through the second half of Luke’s Gospel, you’ll meet the people Jesus encountered on the way to the cross—and prepare your heart to appreciate his death and resurrection afresh. We’ll be Reflecting at home…
From Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday, you are invited to follow a series of daily reflections as we take time in our own homes to consider Jesus’ journey to the cross. We will be following Sinclair B. Ferguson’s book, “To Seek and To Save,” which provides short daily reflections for Lent.
Each day, in the book, you’ll be invited to: read a passage of Luke’s Gospel and a short meditation, reflect on a thought-provoking question, then respond in prayer and praise.
…plus we’ll be coming together online.
Every Wednesday during Lent, there will also be an opportunity to come and reflect together on ZOOM as we share, discuss and pray in small breakout groups about what we’ve been learning from our reflections.
The ZOOM meetings will take place both morning and evening on the following days. Each meeting will last an hour and most of the time will be spent in breakout rooms talking with two or three other members of the church family.
